Hi Zirindaba,
I found out from other posting that you filed your appeal in VSC on Jan 30, 2003. Please inform me what is the current online status of your I-140? Still it is Denied or Pending?. Kindly help.

Your reply will help me understand about my denied I-140 case status.

Am sorry was so busy but this is what is on my online status check now. It says On April 23, 2003 , this case was transferred to our Administrative Appeals Office for review. That office will notify you of any further action taken on this case.
Now my question is how long does this take
 
Thank you for the update. Did you check the status before April 23? Did it say Denied?
We cannot say how long it will take if it goes to AAU, Washington. Normally some months (6-10). But I have a friend whose case was decided(approved) by AAU in just two weeks. But I find that was extremely rare.

it never said denied but it was saying that a written decision on this case was sent ..................

Hi,
Online status will never say that a case is denied. They mention in an indirect way. "A written decision was sent on ......."
is the message for denial.
Your case status went from Denial to Sent to AAU. So what I heard was wrong. Somebody told me that when BCIS review the appeal papers, online status message will be changed to Under Processing.
We can help a lot of people in the future (though I don't want anybody get denial and to face trouble I have been facing since May 2002) by doing our little research here.
My case got denied after an investigation about the company.
They came up with lot of incorrect information which we don't know how they got. Mainly number of H1B filed and Lack of capability to pay the salary.
