Hi Visa...Legal Issues... Need Advice.

I got my H1 Visa from a company which was approved in Jan 3rd week. After I got the approval notice I got in touch with the company but they don\'t have any openings and are not interested to take me in for now... If I get another Job in the same field in another company, can I apply for that and get my H1 Visa transfer..????? What is the Period for which a person can stay legally after the approval & 194 docs but not joining the 1st company..?

I need immideate help..........Requesting all GURUS & Friends to put some light on the issue.. THANKS for your inputs,Advice & Time.

Since you just got a visa approved you MIGHT have some room here

When an H-1 is approved and the person is in the US, the company has sixty days to bring the person on the payroll. That may give you some space here. If the company has informed you that they do now have any intent to hire you then you might have a problem.
