Need mexican visa?

I have a Dec 13th visa appointment in Tijuana and was wondering since your date is 11th, if I actually need Mexican visa to go to the consulate in Tijuana. One of my friends went to Tijuana and she told me it was not needed but she had it anyways. I wanted to confirm this. The last date to change my appointment is Dec 6th if I have to cancel/postpone my appointment date. Please do let me know. Thanks, H.

I had applied for a Mexican visa earlier and have got it. But I know some of my friends who didnt have a Mexican visa and made it to the US consulate. So I think its fine.
