I was convicted of crime which I never committed. A petty theft. It took place at Fry\'s Electronics in California. They charged me and I try to give them a reason but no one was ready to listen to me. I\'m presently on F-1 VISA and I\'m about to graduate in Master\'s in Computer Science with a GPA of 3.63. I feel my career is in dogs before I even start it. How is this going to affect my career. Will I ever get a job if I hapenned to find one will I get a H-1 VISA. Is there any other ways to compensate like doing some kind of community service to take that off my records. Please advice I\'m need of great help.

Get your record expunged

You need to get a lawyer to get your record expunged, particularly if you were arrested. Most of the employers require you to disclose any arrest records or criminal convictions of at least the preceding 5 years.
