Hello everyone, I need advice if any off you have been thrue this before. hear is my story:

I married my wife one year ago I loved her all this time we met in high school in my counrty she is a us citizen, and now I am a permanent resident since july 05.

we have been having problems since like 3 months now and she moved to another state. I still have a conditional resident card only valid for 2 years.
we still talk to each other but we do not share bills or nothing now.
Is this going to be a problem for me when Those 2 years come and I have to enter my remove of conditional residence???

whats happens if I get a divorce? what happens with my permanet residence??

thank you all in advance for your comments or suggestions. :)

Separating

Helo Eljefe -- I found this place in order to see if I could find information on a similar topic, which I will address in my next post.

for now I will say that based *only* on my own experience, ok, let me put it this way:

My husband and I married in 1999. He is a foreign national and went immediately into the "process" to become a permanent resident, which he did, in late 2001. But we were apparently still in some sort of conditional time frame.

In early 2002 I had had enough of his abuse and invited him to leave. I still loved him and hoped to work things out, so he moved down the street. We continued to see each other very regularly, many times daily, but he maintained a totally separate household from mine. for all official documents we continued to have them mailed to my address. He never had a problem and no one ever inquired, though we live in an area that has rather low immigration numbers.

My guess is that you've got a really good chance of having no difficulties whatsoever.

Good luck!

thanks alott RenoirGir finaly some answers , let me ask you did they remove his conditional residence now? did they give him his permanet residence card valid for 10 years instead of only 2 years? and if so did you submit info with him 3 months prior to the day this conditional residence expires?

take care and good luck too you 2 :0)

If you are no longer married to your spouse, or if you have been battered or abused by your spouse, you can apply to waive the joint filing requirement. In such cases, you may apply to remove the conditions on your permanent residence any time after you become a conditional resident, but before you are removed from the country."

Who is Eligible?
You may apply to remove your conditions on permanent residence if:
-You entered into a marriage in good faith, but the marriage was ended through divorce or annulment.
- The termination of your conditional resident status would cause extreme hardship to you.
