This is in continuation of discussion, WIFE(SPOUSE) OUT OF US, filing I-485 for self at present & filing for spouse when spouse comes to US.
Thankyou very much for the reply in the earlier discussion thread. It is really very helpful. Thankyou also for the cautionery note. Did your friend apply like this(seperately), & get approval. Can you please ask your friend to send a personal mail, giving email address . I really like to clarify some things. or if they prefer this discussion board, I can post here. I will not take too much of time.

I would like to know whether, they specifically mentioned anything in the covering letter, saying spouse will apply later or just filed. When applying for spouse, what the answer was for question, \'applying with you\', yes/no. From earlier discussion you mentioned that for primary applicant this is filled as \'no\', along with other details for spouse.
Your input will help me in filing my I-485 early. Your reply will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
