Registered Users (C)
I wanted to ask you guys to help me out with dsp-122 and ds-230.
But first with dsp-122.
I will give you thw questions which I don't understand, and please give me correct answers to them.
Questions on dsp-122
2.rank number? is it the case number on NL??
4.should I put here u.s embassy in our country?
5.country that I listed as native country?? Is this the country from which we are applying, and where we live,or country where we were born??(have dual citizenship). Our confirmation that we got in November, when we filled application online, says which country is our eligibility country,is this native country??
6.should I write elementary and high?

Can I write with pen,and not use computer or type machine?

When do you think,we'll get interview appointment,if we get one, becaue as you know there are more people selected, than available visas? Our case number is 2007EU00001xxx?

What are the chances to get appointment??

Thanks guys, and please give me right answers, because I have to send forms back to KCC,ASAP.

2-Yes,that is your case number.
4-Yes,if you will be doing CP.
5-Country that you put and claimed to be native when applied for the lottery.
6-I guess that be fine.High School info is must for eligibility if you are not claiming through 2 years work experience.

You can type in online at www.travel.state.gov and then print.Typing or black ink pen would be also fine.If you do it with hands then write in capitals and also dont forget to put your case number on the upper right hand side corner.

Your number is very low and you should be getting interview call in late October or early November.

Your rank is very low so dont worry you'll first batch once the visas will become available in October. For DV 2006 DOS started with numbers 3000 and below for EU in last October.

Thanks

Thanks for fast answer, but can you please tell me what is CP?
This is all new to me so I have no idea about it.
The country where we live,is our eligibility country,so I guess it's native?
Can we claim both,HS and work?
Thanks!

CP stands for Consular Processing.
HS and Work?plz explain!!

Are U in US?and what country you are from?

Well I mean, can my mother write both, work experience, and education requirements?
Because she finished High School, and she's been working for the past 25 years.
I am not in USA.

I wanted to ask you few more things, before posting questions that I don't understand from ds-230:

Where should I put N/A,and what should I write if I don't know the answer or if I am not sure about the answer on some question?
Can I have some problems because of dual citizenship?
Thanks!!

High School is the only requirement. So plz just put abt education(just suggestion). You or the winner does not have to claim eligibility becasue of work experience given the HS.Work experience has its own requirements, plz read the link if you would,
http://www.travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/types/types_1318.html

Anything that doesnot relate to you put N/A.It is also advisable not to use word NONE when some field with the name is not applicable.

Dual citizenship will have nothing to do with it....no worries abt that.

Gosh,you are fast!
Now you will get bored with many more questions from me,but what can I do,I want everything to be perfect,so I don't get disqualified.

ds-230-part I

questions:
10.can I write here, that I will provide the address at the interview?

11.should I put my friends address? He lives in L.A.?

22.in what occupation do you intend to work in USA? how can we know this,i mean i have no idea which job i'm gonna get? what should i write, also i'm still High School student,so maybe I shouldn't write anything, but my mom has to write something,so any opinion would be great?

23.what means course of study? and what is professional association?

ds-part II

29.who is petitioner for both of us? btw my mom is the winner?
32.what is port-of entry?
33a. should we apply for social security number? i guess yes
33b.if you know what is the question please tell me what is it about, and should i answer 'yes'?

I am not signing this form ds-230 part II-right?

And please tell me one more time are you sure I can write with pen, because I am about to start filling forms!?

Thank you so much for your help, you are great!!!!
And sorry for so many questions, but I am a bit affraid because I dont want to make any mistakes!!!
I guess you know the feeling if you went through this!!
Thanks!!!

10-yes you can, they may ask you if that person intend to support your family for a while, being new immigrant etc. However, you can write NONE.

11-Yes that seems to be fine.

22-For you that will be your intentions but to my opnion you can write abt.finishing your studies first....e.g.finish college

23-Will be your major subjects, lets say Mathematics & Physics or history etc.In general proffessionals like doctors are part of some association like Heart Surgeon association of North America etc.You most likely not a member yet put NONE or N/A

Part 11

29-I'm not sure abt this but I think it will be you eventhough you are a derivative beneficiary.Plz seek more help and do more research for this question.

32-Port of Entry is a border crossing point into any country. It can be a US airport or a actual US Custom and Border post at the border with Canada and Mexico.
32a-Yes
32b-Yes but one can choose no and still apply for SSN.

Yes you will be asked to sign in presence of a visa officer.
