Sorry for same question, but I am going crazy with not knowing...

On the website it says --

My receipt was on 7/6 and My FP was done on 7/18 and it does not mention that or anything else on the site.
Does it always let you know when the interview letter is generated?
Is this normal for this system?

What is the normal time to expect an interview letter after you get your fingerprints done?

Website never accurate. From my past experience, I always get my letter or approval first before the website got updated.

So just be patience, don't worry about the website status too much.

It depends on your case, mine took about 2 months
 
Normally within 2-4 weeks after you have done FP the system will say "you case could not be found bla bla". Within 1-2 weeks after that you should be able to get interview letter. But i would not worry if it takes 1-2 weeks longer.

In my case (San Jose DO) i got interview letter after 5 weeks from FP. But some people get after 3 weeks or so and some get after around 2 months, maybe depending upon the processing speed of officials.
