Hey BP,
seeing your thread even i called IIO cuz' my ND is of June 2001.

she very politely told me that my case is still pending waiting to be assigned to an actual officer for approval or RFE and she couldn't give me any explanation to the fact that why ND of oct' nov' are getting approved before me.
so she asked me to wait till first part of MAY to call again and check the status of my case.

any thoughts to share as to the statements of these IIO's.

and by the way last month when i called i was told that my case is with an officer.

I know your feeling. I feel the same way as you do but I am going to just sit and vegetate, I guess. Nothing else to do except wait. Guess it's just our sheer damn luck that's rotten, I guess.

Frankly, no point calling the IIOs cos' they can't tell you anything right. Even though they realise the blunders are theirs, they will tell you something nonsensical just to get you off the phone.

When I called in december, IIO told me that my case was assigned to an officer. But when I called in Feb I was told that my case was pending. On further probing the IIO told me that my case was with the clerical department that types and issues the RFE. My lawyer got the RFE this week.

I was told the same that my case is in clerical department. When I further asked the IIO about any possible RFE, she told me that she was not sure what clerical department would be sending me. She did tell me to expect some sort of communication from NSC.

What kind of RFE did u get?
