hey want !! i went to german consulate for schengen visa as I mentioned earlier in my post. I got it for desired time without any problems on my NP, I went to germany earlier with a RTD but I read many posts where people went to germany on their RTDs were refused visa on their NPs and were told to use RTD instead, they didn't asked me if i've been there or not and I put no to the question on application which asks for your previous visits to schengen states. SO anyone with same situation its better not to tell them if you are using your NP now instead of RTD.

Ok you got lucky. I would recommend never lying but you got it..good for you. If you do tell them usually they ask you to get a RTD.
