Thanks for greetings. I wish you best of luck.
We sent reply for RFEs on 15th June and immediately there was LUD updates on 18, 19, and 20th. Initial message change was for RFE receipt and also stated expected time line of another 800 days.
Another dramatic thing was some Donna from USCIS called my office. That time I was away to attend a conference. My student Robert Cantrell answered phone and they both had conversation for 10 minutes. She asked about me and about him. Questions like how many students are doing research under me and how much funding I have. What kind of research I am doing etc. What courses I teach here. How Robert likes me etc. Funny and unheard of. Is it not. She did not leave her phone number and Robert felt she is very nice lady and he could not understand even now what is this all about.
I received a total 30 emails (same emails sent several times) yesterday from USCIS and CRIS about approvals. We are waiting for original notices.
I filed I-140 in March 2002 and I-485 on March 2003. All the paper work including AC21 is done by me with the help of this forum. I never hired any attorney for immigration during last ten years of my stay here. I came on J-1, then O-1 and then H1b and now green card. I fixed paper work for me and my family all by myself. Not a bad story.

Congruatulations! Did you receive approval for your family members as well? My husband's I-485 is still pending.

I think you missed my earlier posting beacuse you would surely response to me because you were the first one who were there to show your support. Anyway, I am the one whose RFE for 485 got lost in mail, finally got it at the end of May and responded on June 3rd and got approved (both me and spouse) on June 16, made an appointment for PP on June 29. Thank you for your sincere feedback and Praying to God that your case as well as others get approved before July 1st.
