hi all,
I got the email just a minute back ... its over. i really needed this to happen in time for my school application .. so its a great relief....

my wac is 02-192..
2nd fp jan'04
rfe for medical came on 18th july
rfe response received on july 9

i am a derivative of my hubby's primary which was approved june'03.

questions are welcome. thanks all you folks for all the directions and support.

RFE Issue date : 18th june
RFE mailed date : mmmm .... i think the lawyer mailed the response around a week later
RFE Received by INS date : 9th july

oops sorry.. i my first message i typed july in place of june... the issue date is 18th june.

I too got a medical RFE and just wanted to see how long it would take from there on.
My lawyer just kept the response papers with her for 1 week, inspite of my calling her and asking her to mail them asap. Mine was mailed on 8/3. Status didn't change to RFE received yet. Thanks for posting the dates.
 
actually my rfe was inevitable.. i had not noticed but my stupid doc had actually marked the "not sufficient immunizations" box on that green form. it was in fact due to his own fault cos he didn't have tetanus shots availabe when i had had my medical done. so this time he just gave me a tetanus shot and gave the new green form... & of course charged me 100$ for it!!!!

once they receive the response to medical rfe... it shudn't take long for approval...

my hubby got a rfe and an interview!!! so not been "smooth" for us ... but its all over.... his 2nd fp i don't remember...its been long since his approval... more than a year....
