USCIS recently add many information on the"how do I...?" section, which include some helpful guideline about asylee and refugee, such as how to prove your work eligiblity, and the issue about going back COP within your asylee status.
it is first time that USCIS mentions that asylees don't need EAD to prove their work eligibility, SSN is enough. So don't spent your money on the stupid card any more. check this link: http://uscis.gov/graphics/services/factsheet/index.htm#d

Excelent job, freemanmo.

I want to say thanks to you, because this document will make clear for us, what is the actual vision of USCIS about asylees going back to COP.

The bottom line is Yes, you can go back to COP, but be aware that this fact will rise a red flag about your actual neccesite of asylum in this country. Be ready to give explanations about why you did that, and furthermore never ever make a track of contnuos trips to COP.

Thanks again, freemanmo for make this point clear for us, and for your continued research about facts. It's all about Team work!

Very good info,

on this one http://uscis.gov/graphics/services/factsheet/howdoi/d1_english.pdf

It says :

If I marry after I become a refugee or asylee, can I file an
I-730 for my husband or wife?
You cannot file an I-730 for your husband or wife if you marry after
you become a refugee or asylee. However, you may want to get
legal advice to determine if there are any other immigration benefits
available to your spouse.

What does it mean legal advice? Lawyer?
