Helper007, CIBA: Is FP rescheduling done by sending postal mail or by calling INS phone?

I have "not" yet got FP notice.(bay area)
Trying to find out how reschedule is done, since I may have a urgent india trip. I will try to avoid, but may not be able to.
Incase I miss FP, what does the notice say (Helper007, does FP notice ask you to call to reschedule, or mail a note or something?)

i don;t think u need to re-schedule, just walk in with ur FP notice
at either Oakland center. They usually will allopw u to get FP done before schduled date.

No, I am talking about, if I miss the FP notice and the appt.date goes by while I am in India. In this case, we need to reschedule. I am asking abt that procedure.

The FP notice will tell you what to do in case you
need to reschedule the appointment. Follow the
instructions stated in the notice.
