My friend got his greencard under EB3 category one year ago. His wife and a child live abroad. Recently he got a notice from INS that his I-824 was approved and the consulate in the related embassy is notified to grant them visa to join him. In the mean time, my freind got laid off but has got a job offer from elsewhere. If he accepts the job offer from his new employer, will it affect in obtaining the immigrant visa to his wife and child abroad? Will the job letter from new employer work to serve the purpose of affidavit of support?
