I filed my I-485 in Dec 2001 and got my EAD in Jan 2002. Currently my project is over.Can I work as a fulltimer in other than my parent company before getting GC approval.Is there any possible way of getting a job without affecting my GC processing.

You can switch the jobs whenever you want, but if INS approves your case with in 180 days, then you will be trouble. Because INS doen\'t allow to switch the employer within 180 days. Make a good guess about your AOS, then decide yourself. This all depends on the RD/ND. I recommend to hang on for this 180 days period (even though you don\'t have a job with current employer).
