Help!!!

I am applying for asylum on the grounds of being apart of a persecuted social-group in my country. I am awaiting an interview date. This is where the plot thickens! I took unauthorized employment because I had no other means of supporting myself. I'm afraid I will be found to be inadmissible after my admission. I assume this cannot be an uncommon problem seeing as the wait for employment authorization can be awhile. I need advice or options. I read something about a waiver (I-602), but I don't know if it applies. Please help.

Are you saying that you have already admitted to accepting unauthorized work? Or do you intend to disclose it in the interview?

If you already decided you will do that, I don't know what else I can tell you... There is a good chance you will not be asked that question though.
