So I'm trying to help a buddhist monk get his green card, here's the timeline:
He applied in 2006 (sorry no specific date), received an appointment notice for Biometrics for June 30, 2006, went and got fingerprinted, in March of 2007 someone from Immigration came to the temple to interview him (I don't know if that's valid, someone comes to interview them) and that's the last we've heard from them...

I check his status online and it says of August 4th 2006, it's been updated and they've received the response to theire request for evidence.

What should I do? Is it going to take time, is it being impatient? I feel bad for the monk, it's been a year. Is it normal?

Please help, I'm new to this immigration thing and it's looking like I'm the only one that can help the monks...
