Help!!

One of the requirements for my RFE is "Submit a copy(ies) of the Form I-797 or I-171C approval notice(s) relating to any extensions of stay or change of nonimmigrant status that have been issued to you".

Can somebody help me in understanding as to what forms are they asking for?
Also, they have asked for earning statements for the last 2 years, will W2 receipts be okay?
I would really appreciate it if somebody can help me out with this.

I -797 is the form on which all the approval notices are sent. May be H1, EAD, I-485 etc.

I think in your case they are asking for your H1B, EAD approval notices. Send copies of all H1B , EAD approval notices which you have. Your lawyer would be the best person to tell which one to send.

Yes copies of w-2 and copy of last 3 years tax returns.
