Hello:
I'm pregnant and plan to invite my mother to US to help during the process.
I have temporary permanent resident (i.e. my passport was stamped for GC valid for 1 year till the actual GC comes), the same is true for my husband.
My mother is a widow and has only one more sibling (son) who resides in India. He is married. His wife is pregnant too Wiull this point be of any help in favor of the B-VISA for my mother.
We are not well off thus will be unable to show assets as such.
Will the temporary permanent residency pose any danger of her VISA being rejected? I understand from prior postings that I should not bring up the pregnancy issue. There is no way my mother will immigrate to US and there is no way she will be burden on US. I am wondering how to convince the US consulate about it.
Are there people with similar experience?
Your comments will be extremely helpful.
Thanks
Meena
