Hi,

I had sent my I-485 application to Vermont INS on Aug 3rd,2000 which was delivered to them on Aug 4,2000. Till date I have not recieved the RD/ND date from them (exactly a month now). Can you suggest what I should do?

Is there anybody who filed in August\'2000. Would appreciate if you could post your details.

Patience, brother. The receipt notice should be on its way. It takes usually a few weeks. In any case you have about a year to go, so do not get too anxious.

I applied my I-485 on Aug 21 ,

I heard that it usally takes 3 to 4 weeks to get Receipt date.

So u might get your RD any time.(It migth have got delayed because of holidays etc.,
