Help! wrong I94 info in USCIS computer system,GC interview in 10 days?

Please advice!!!!
I apply new H1b visa in 2004,my I94 valid through 08/09/2007. but USCIS officer told me my I94 info is wrong in their computer,My name is not on,it is my school HR person's name who applied for H1 for me. it is strange that the info in the I94 form I received is right with my name on.
I want to change my last name after marrage,but I can't get a new SSN card because of this problem. what should I do? How and How long will it take to correct the info in USCIS computer? I have GC interview in 10 days,Should I cancel my GC interview ? It will be the same problem if the officer check their computer

If I were you, I would still attend the interview and bring whatever I were supposed to bring 'coz I just don't think it's a good idea to reschedule the interview (we all know how efficient USCIS is). Even you cancel your 1st interview, there is still a possibility that your I-94 may not get fixed before your 2nd interview.

If the officer asks about your I-94, explain to him what happened and see if he can provide any further assistance.
