Hello, my father applied for a I130 F4 awhile back and now it has got approved. My father currently lives in the USA and me and my mother live outside the USA,My mother had a 10 year bar on her and she only has 1,5 years left for it. A lawyer told us he will make a waiver for her after the interview? Why can't it be before it?

Because that is how they work: your mom will go to interview, she will be denied, she will be informed if she can get a waiver for the refusal reason, and then she /your lawyer can submit the waiver. If you look at the waiver instructions, they state this under “who can file”. https://www.uscis.gov/system/files_force/files/form/i-601instr.pdf?download=1

If you are an applicant for an immigrant, K, or V nonimmigrant visa (and you are outside the United States, have had a visa interview with a consular officer, and during the interview, you were found inadmissible,) or you are an applicant for adjustment of status to lawful permanent residence (excluding adjustment categories listed below,) you may file this application to obtain relief from the following grounds.

Thank you!
If i went to the interview with her would her needing a waiver effect me getting my card? Should i go alone or would it not matter?

If you are applying for a visa as a derivative of your father’s F4, it won’t affect it.
