Help with RFE

USCIS has asked for proof of employment authoriztion status for the last 4+ years in a RFE.

I've been working on EAD for the last 4+years.

During one of my EAD renewal, We filled it 88 days before expiry and could not get a new EAD on time. The Interim EAD was issued with 3 days of gap.

I didnt work on these 3 days. 2 days out of 3 were Saturday and sunday.And monday I took a day off.

What should be my response to this RFE. Should I disclose it in the RFE and do some explanation. And what kind of explanation should I be doing.

I'm scared that they might reject my 485 due to this.Has anyone gone through this ordeal. Is there any way I can get a repreive on this.

It is always better to consult your attorney and get it drafted. Tell your attorney the truth and ask his opinion of putting it together with some documentary evidence. USCIS loves tons of documentation.

Personally I feel that it is not going to be an issue, but depends on the IO.
