currently 27, i was here on as student from 96-2000
parents won DV in 97 and arrived in 98
-i bungled the process by applying only I-130, while still under 21
father, who petitioned for me in 98, just became a citizen just 1 month ago.
now, all types of problems... sorry if i am short on description for i am really really tired of this process...
currently, I am out of status, i was in status of H1B untill 2002 then i got laid off and that was that. I have never left the country since i have been here in 96..
here are questions:
a) My name that appears on the Petition takes is different... ok..let me explain it here better. We don't have middle names in our country. so let's say my give name is Samuel, and my father's name is Cabrera and, my father's father (grandfather) name is Daniel. On the petition my father had filed my name as "Samuel C. Daniel) using "Cabrera" as a middle name. the problem is, most of my documents, (i have a legit SS, Bank, Birth Cert, Driv Lic) all bear my name as "Samuel Cabrera" with no middle name. how should i fill out my name?
b) I-485 asks status, should i fill it in as "out of status" or the last legal status that i had "H1-B"?
c) I don't have an A-number and yet i am asked by all the forms, 824, 765,485, for an A-number? what should i fill in? I-94.
