I'm a US citizen and I'm applying my fiancee over from hongkong to US with I129F last year in May, on september 2007, i receive an approval from US and the case has pass over to the hongkong embassay. She sumbitted all her paper and had an interview with the consul over 7 months ago, and they told her she will get a call pretty soon. It's been over 1.5 years now and every time i email them for case status , they always give me a very generic response telling me the case is in progress. I'm very frustrated at the Hong Kong embassy as well, those people are very impolite and when my fiancee request for a translater to see the consul, they deny her request, is there anyway i can file a complaint as well? I'm not sure why it's taking this long, they do not have a phone number with live person i can call. I want to know why it's taking this long and if there's anything i can do to expedite this process?
