Hi All -

Hope everyone is doing well.

I will be landing in Canada on July 4th as a Immigrant. I am moving from Singapore as I got my PR approved few months ago.
Anyway, I have two of my brothers who live in US, will I have problem getting a visitors visa to US for 2 weeks.

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanx for all your help in advance.

Well, it all depends on when you plan to apply for the visa!! If you apply for one as soon as you land, there will be some eyebrow raising at the consulate. Yes!! You will have problems obtaining one, since you will not be able to prove sufficient ties in Canada (Job etc.etc.) You might also be questioned as to why you didn't apply for one in your home country?

However, if you find a job and wor for 6 months, then go and apply, you might get one.

Good Luck!!

If you are a Singapore national, you do not need a visa for a short visit. Check with the US consulate in Singapore for more information.
