I have been lurking around this forum for the past month and it’s been a tremendous help reading the experiences and advice of the members.
My question concerns the I-864 but 1st some background. I entered the US legally on a student visa in august 2000, I have maintained my
student status this enter time. I married a US citizen in October and we are about to file the following forms I-485, I-130 and I-765 on our
own. Since my wife was a student for most of last year (recent college graduate) her tax return for 2004 isn’t enough to meet the support
requirement on I-864. I read somewhere that I can use my tax return since we have been living together for close to 2 years now , and filed a joint tax return for 2004. The question is do I need to submit I-864A even though I am the only one adjusting status? If the answer to that question is yes, do I need to have it notarized?
thanks looking forward to the responses (fingers crossed)

Yes, you can use your income to support your wife's affidavite of support. Even if your wife don't have any income, she needs to fill out for I864 and you need to fill out form I864A to support her.
Yes you need to notarize it. It says in the form.
