me and my USC spouse are getting ready to file for adjustment of status but we have a problem. it says the petitioner needs to meet 125 percent of the poverty minimum or something......problem is she doesnt. we are a family of 3 ( we have a little boy) and even though i'm not authorized to work i have two jobs. she works part time and takes care of our son. i pay my taxes on time so my question is this....do we need to get a cosponsor or can we both be on the affidavit of support because our joint income far exceeds the poverty minimum. i have my tax forms, pays stubs abd all that. what do i do? thx.
