help with EAD

Hi,
I filed EAD on June 22nd and waiting approval on that. My current EAD expires on August 12th. I am going to an conference on august 9th which ends on augsust 13th. My EAD expires in between. Is there any way I can get my EAD expited if my employer sends in a request.

NO! There is no way to expedite EAD's. But your can apply for an interim ead after 90 days have elapsed since you filed for renewal. There is nothing you can do till September 22, by which time hopefully your renenwal will be in your hand. Till then you will have to sit at home without pay since you don't have employment authorization. Offcourse the assumption is that you are working on your EAD and NOT your H1.

And could you PLEASE search the archives for information on common issues? You will be saving bandwidth and getting your answers instantaniously.
