I know this may not be the best place to post. But, can someone help.
I am a green card holder settled in United States. I married three years ago in India to an Indian Citizen based off Mumbai. My wife does not want to come to United States. We have decided to get divorced. There is definitely a mutual consent. I am planning to get a divorce decree in United States based on her absentism and her written consent.
First question: Is that divorce decree valid in India given that I am an Indian citizen based in United states.
Second question: Should I get a divorce decree after becoming a US Citizen in few months.
Third question: Since there is mutual consent, how long will it take to get divorce in India.
