Hi, every expert, I need you help on Advance parole application.

My I140 RD is 3/8/02, still nothing  . My I-485 RD is 12/05/02. Now I am planning to apply AP myself with VSC with 140 receipt. I am in Boston, I realize that Boston office no longer issue the same day AP approval. My questions are:

1). Is this no same-day AP rule for all AP in general or only for people with 140 pending. In another word, if I get I140 approval later, can I go to Boston office to get a walkin AP still?

2). How long it takes for AP in VSC? which is quicker? file with local office or with VSC?

3) I am in H1 till Jan. 2004. However, I don't have a H-1 stamp on my passport. Can I travel outside of US while AP pending? If my H-1 visa is denied unexpectedly in local US conselor, can I wait outside for AP approval?

Thanks for all comments and suggestions.
