Ok, here is the problem that I have. I have been living in the United States for over 20 years and has never applied for citizenship. I lost my wallet with my SSN and permanent alien card. I don't have any copies of it. Will i be able to just file for my citizenship or do i need to get my alien card replaced before i can file for citizenship? This is really stressing me out right now. I'm currently not working and find it hard to find a job without my proper paperwork. I cannot get my SSN unless I have my alien card.

You have to get a new I-551 to get your Citizenship. Do you have a copy of your GC?

Get a copy from them so you can at least file the N-400.
File I-90 as well so you will have your new card in hand by the time you are scheduled for your N-400 interview..

On the alternative you can also file I-90 first and then you will be able to get a temporary I-551 stamp in your passport, a copy of that stamp can also be used to file N-400.
The same stamp will also enable you to get a duplicate SS card.
