Help! What is Corea Vs Thornberg?

Dear All,
A client had a problem with homeland security on his way in last week and his visa was cancelled on suspicion that he was coming here on a pretense. We waded in and went to the airport before he was due to be sent back. After thorough questioning with documents to prove his intent to be here for a 2 weeks training he was released to us.

He was allowed in with his I-94 showing his date of departure and Corea Vs Thornberg was written on his visa. What does this mean? We have called them for explanation and no one has returned our calls. He was granted 2 years visa in March. Can he still visit the USA later in the year with the same visa. Please help with your insights. Thanks in advance!

They are obviously referring to a legal case as a precedent.
May be an attorney would be able to help you in deciphering
what the judgement was!

He's your client. I have not read the case. I'd need to pull the case, read it analyze it and compare your client's facts to the case to reach an opinion. Since he is your client, that's what you need to do.

I am not a lawyer. He is here for a two weeks training program in IT. I referred to him as client in that he is attending a program with my company. Thanks for your help.
