HELP! Update Status on USCIS.GOV Website...What does it mean? Is good or bad?

Ok, here's my case. I applied through the Newman/LULAC Case. However, after about a month after I applied, I received a letter, asking me to send more evidence or a rebuttal to my case (which I did). Just today, I was looking at my case online and it was updated with the following message:

" On November 28, 2005, we received your response to our request for evidence or information. It is taking between 30 and 60 days for us to process this kind of case. However because preliminary processing was complete, the remaining processing time will be less than the maximum stated in this message. You will receive a written decision on this case."

Does this mean that I have completed the first part of the case and the remaining time will be less than usual, because my rebuttal was accepted?

Would this mean that I could have been denied or approved and I have to wait till I receive their letter in the mail?

I am really worried. ANY HELP WILL BE HIGHLY APPRECIATED! Thanks in advance!

It means what it says. They have received your reply and they are working on the case. If you haven't received an approval or denial 60 days after this notice, you can file an inquiry with USCIS.

You have neither been approved or denied, it just means they are working on the case. Just sit tight for now.
