STRANGE news message after 25 DAYS of approval of I140

Ginnu, UnitedNations, anyone pleas help,

My I140 got approved and LUD (03/31/05)changed saing that :

"Application Type: I140 , IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR ALIEN WORKER

Current Status:

This case has been approved. On March 30, 2005, an approval notice was mailed.If 14 days have passed and you have not received this notice, you may wish to verify or update your address. To update your address, please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283.

If you have questions or concerns about your application or the case status
results listed above, or if you have not received a decision or advice from
USCIS within the projected processing time frame*, please contact the National Customer Service Center.

National Customer Service Center (800) 375-5283.
"

Then again LUD changed on 04/21/05 and message is:

"Application Type: I140 , IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR ALIEN WORKER

Current Status:

On April 19, 2005, the document we made based on the approval or registration of
this case was mailed directly to the person to whom issued.

If you have questions or concerns about your application or the case status
results listed above, or if you have not received a decision or advice from
USCIS within the projected processing time frame*, please contact the National
Customer Service Center.

National Customer Service Center (800) 375-5283."

Pleas Help me to understand what's going on. Do you think anything bad, because i changed my job after I140 got approved and still now i didn't send AC21. Do you anything bad is happend with my Approved I140. Because i knew that my lawyear received the approval it means my sponsor company also received that.


Please reply. Urgent.

Did you apply for a copy of 140 under FOIA?

I do not think there is anything to worry because for many poeple (including me), the AP message changed to similar one after few days of approval.

May be they are processing your 485 and someone internally requested a copy of 140.

I think you are close to 485 approval.

Frist of all thanks a lot for your reply.

Well i never sent request for a copy of 140 under FOIA.

What happend in your case ? Did you recived that document by mail.....as they told. Or anything about I 485?

Just download the form from USCIS site. You will have to fill it and get notorized.

Provide the reason that you need it for your personal record and future reference.

Sent it to the USCIS office based on your area.

Generally it takes 6-8 weeks. You may get lucky and get it earlier as well.

Do you know anyone in this forum who sent this request or any thread?
Is there anything which effect the GC process? Sorry i have no idea in this topic may be i'm asking funny.............but please give some idea on this.

I got it in 12 days. Do not panic, there is nothing to worry about. You have already exceeded 180 days on 485 and 140 is approved, time is on your side now.

For these message updates, it could happen due to any reason, sometimes due to a batch job also when they have an internal departmental request. In my case, RFE message was shown in my earlier 140 but the RFE was never received. Later I found it was internal request for original of labor within USCIS.

So, be cool and enjoy half plus earned freedom.
