I am the primary applicant and my application was approved and I received my card. My wife who is a dependent application has been transferred to the local office for an interview and i was told it may take several months. Any idea why that has happened. BTW my receipt date was Jan 2001 I guess I was one of the oldest cases in forum. Never got any RFE my online message still said 900-999 days and one day Out of blue I got approval notice. TSc never fails to surprise me

Heard this kind of case first time.

Did you and your spouse applied together or you got spouse added later on ?

No we applied together wonder why her message says
On March 4, 2004, we transferred your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status to our office in OKLAHOMA CITY, OK for them to schedule and conduct your interview. Scheduling can take several months. Our office in OKLAHOMA CITY, OK will notify you when they schedule your interview or take other action on your case. If you need further information, please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283.
I checked up at ok city office and they says they have not received her papers yet

kiddoc, they would probably just want to confirm that you were not married for GC only, i.e. you are still together!! I guess that should just be the case nothing complicated!!

I sure hope so I was married for about 6 years before we applied for GC and also have 2 kids born here. My wife has stayed in US with me all the time also.

Hello Kiddoc:

So good to see you back on the forum. when did you get approved? Did your online status ever change after FP? I believe you are a pediatrician in KY. I am also an internist in KY. I just wanted to check with you where you had your fp done-was it at one of the ASC where they do FP on the form rather than computerized? Please let me know. Now I am the oldest case on the forum.

ND/RD: 4/2001
FP: 6/02
2nd FP: 3/04
RFE received by TSC: 3/04
AD?

Gkhan.

Just a guess.

If the status is correct (there is possibility the status is wrong), then most likely reason is your marriage certificate or someone with the same name as your wife .....

G khan frankly this has been so confusing so far for me. I am pediatrician from oklahoma
My RD was 01/01 1st Fp done on 01/02, 2nd FP done on 01/03. never received any RFE. Online message never changed like other guys still kept on saying the standard 900-999 days no acknowledgement of receiving fp etc. I wrote to local congressman senator etc but frankly I dont think they were of much help at all. I called the 800 number twice one month apart. My wife online message changed as being called for interview but mine stayed the same 900-999 days and one day i got a notice from Homeland security that my case was approved and to go to OK city for processing. I checked online and still message was the usual 900-999. Any how end of story I got my plastic card today and now i am convinced I do have a green card. My friend who worked with me used same lawyer and same dates as mine got his GC about 11/2 years ago. Any how i hope there will not be a major problem for my wifes case hopefully they transferred her case to local office to reduce work load but one never knows with TSC strange things do happen
