Help- Spoke to NSC- Name Check

Spoke to Cust Service Rep at NSC and she said
that my case is struck in Name Check,I asked her
from when is my case with FBI she said from the
time I filed my I -485( I filed my 485 in RD
Sep 20th 2005 under EB2). Me and my wife both
had finger prints twice once in 2006 Jan and the
second one in Feb 2007.

Now my question
1.What should I do to clear my File from FBI(like
mailing the Local Senator etc..detail steps/procedure
will be appreciated.

2. How to find if my case is really struck in Name check.

3. Did the cust service give that answer just to avoid
my next questions.

How di you manage to speak to the officer? I tried several times and all I got is an SR. Not able to get an immediate case info.
