Help: RFI notice returned by post office

My case was transfered to Texas in September, 2005. However, I was moving at that time, and did not update address with INS on time. So, the notice of case-transfer and the notice of RFI were both returned by post office. For example, I got the following emails in September:

On September 20, 2005, we mailed a notice requesting additional
evidence or information in this case. The notice explains in detail what
additional material is needed. If you have questions about the notice, what
is required, or if 14 days have passed and you have not received the
notice
------------------
Our last written notice in this case was returned as undeliverable by
the post office on September 29, 2005. To update the mailing address so
this notice can be re-sent, please call the National Customer Service
Center at (800) 375-5283.

And after getting the first emails I did call them to change address and asking them to re-send the RFI. They updated my address, but did not re-send the notices. I called them 4 times in the past 4 months, they always tell me they do not see any undelivable notice about my case in their computer, so they cannot help. I also wrote a letter to Texas center 2 months ago, no response.

My wife's application was filed together, she called to change address one day before me (they did not allow her to change address for me), so, she got all the case-transfer, RFI, bio notices in september. How unlucky I am, really frustrated. How can I get my RFI and bio notices back?

big mistake

that's why is so important to change the address on time, I don't know who you talked to when you called them, but you should really insist in talking with an IO, not with one of those representatives that you get first when you call.

I think you should schedule an InfoPass appoinment, and talk in person with an Immigration Officer, at this point this might be the best way to go.

I sent my 485 with a mailing address as a PO BOX, and it has worked wonderfully for me since I have moved several times already and have not missed one single notice. I'd suggest you do the same if you are planning to move.

You can schedule the appoinment at http://infopass.uscis.gov/

Good luck.
