I applied for 485 in Mar,2000 got married little later and applied for wife asking INS to consoildate both application.
I got approved last year.My priority date oct 97.
Recently my wife had an interview with INS for AOS.
The officer said that we applied before Priority date becoming current , so asked my wife to apply again.
I want to know whether priority date holds good for dependent,b'cos when the primary applicant applied date was current ?
