HELP REQUEST for EAD

I have to renew my EAD card, and have a coupla questions:

1. Do I need to mail in my original EAD card with the application? Or is it simply copies that need to go in?
2. Can I send in a personal check or does it have to be certified or something like that?
3. Are they still requiring a signature card, or can that part be skipped?

Any assistance here will be much appreciated.

Need copy of the receipt for I-485
Personal check is OK
No need for the signature card if you are renewing the card

I followed the same steps, a few days ago, that copper sulphate has mentioned to renew my ead.

are you sure we don\'t have to send the Signature card for the renewal. I have to send my renewal form to VSC.
Nowadays howmuch time it takes for the approval?

That is right. You do not need a signature card.

It is taking between 60-90 days to get an EAD.

I recommend trying your local INS office.

my actual EAD is expiring on 3/31/2001. When is the best time to go to local INS and get it renewed?
