Help- regarding PCC

Dear all,
I am in India from the last 6 months and expecting interview probably in Nov.
Do I have to get the Police clearance certificate from the places I have stayed in US, or since I am in India now, just a PCC in India is fine.

Please let me know

I think you will need to get a PCC from the regional passport office as well as one from the local police station. Not sure about this however. Most of the people in this forum are presently in the US and they only need PCC from the Indian consulate.
