Help: priority date on FP notice

Could someone throw light on the "priority date" on the FP notice please? My priority date on the FP notice is the same as the I485 "received date". Is it normal to have it this way?

PD: Jan 1998
MD: AUG 10 2001,
ND: OCT 2 2001,
EAD, AP : received
FP notice received:
