My wife is a registered nurse with pending I-485,I-140. Recently (November), she had a RFE from immigration on the I-140 & I-485 applications. Part of the reference on I-140 is for her to submit a certified prevailing wage evidence from the state's workforce agency. We had filed a prevailing wage request from the Maryland agency since early December, and up till now, no response. We have until February 1st to response to INS's request. All attempts to contact the Maryland agency on the phone proved abortive. Their phone message says that they are currently processing October requests. We are now frustrated and panicky because we don't know what INS will do if we submit all other documentation except the prevailing wage evidence. Time is running out, and I'm not sure if Maryland will respond before the INS deadline.
Does anyone have any idea what we should do?. Please help!!!. Her job location is at Largo, Maryland, with job title of RN Unit manager.

Are you in US?
Why don't you contact directly the hospital that hired you?
Do you have an attorney?
What is your RFE for I-485?

Thanks for your advice. The good news is that the maryland labor dept. finally responded to our wage request last week. We have therefore sent our response to USCIS last weekend.
We are now waiting for UScis.
Do you know how long USCIS take to process GC for nurses after all their requests have been submitted?
Thanks
