HELP: Preservation of continuous residence with N-470

N-470 and Continuous Stay
Hi All,

I hope someone on the forum can help.

Here my Present Status:

(a) Green-Card received - Jul 2002

(b) Travel out of country - March-Apr 2003

(c) Travel out of country - July3-9th 2004

(d) Intended relocation - Before Aug 2005
(30+ Month after PR is approved)

Can you please let me know what does applying N-470 help me do ?

1. Will N-470 enable me to preserve the entire 30+ months of my stay
I completed before I leave the country ?

2. Will application enable me to accumulate my stay outside the country
also as a part of continuous residence of 5 years or it just preseves the
stay completed and I can accumulate time only if I re-enter USA
again.

3. Looking at above have I met N-470 eligibility criteria ?
