Hi, We filed for a green card in Oct\'99 at Calif. processing center (currently reside at Texas) and got our 485 receipt in Sept\'2000. FP done in Feb 2001 (even though we never recd. the notices from INS and had to get the lawyers copy to go for the FP). We recd our AP & EAD; but no news since then. 9 months after FP & still waiting. Has anyone else filed around the same date as us? Does the Automated voice msg say how many days its gonna take and is it accurate usually ? Am I missing something that I need to do ? Called FBI but fingerprints done more than 6 months ago are out of their system. Desperate to know if there is something wrong with my 485 & if I am ever gonna get the gc - urgency is cause of impending layoff. Please do respond if you have filed at Calif, too.
