Hello Folks, I have a rather unique problem. I applied for 485 RD Jan31, ND Feb 07, 2002 ) I got my AP and EAD. I got married in April and applied for my wife ( RD June 01, ND June 04, 2002 ). My wife had to go back to india to complete her education, which shd take her atleast till the end of 2002. Meanwhile CSC sent us an RFE for her AP. They wanted Marriage Cert and my I140 ( both docs were sent according to my attorneyin the first place ). We responded to this RFE adn INS AVM mentions they recd it on Aug 05.
Q1. How long do you guys think AP shd take given an RFE situation. An educated guess
Q2. Is it possible that my 485 might get approved in 2 months
3. If my 485 gets approved, and we still dont get her AP is there any other alternative for her to enter the US. I hear that my H1 valid till ( Oct'2003 ) will expire the moment 485 gets approved.
Given the trend PCEE can you tell me in cases where spouses have applied after the Principal applicant has applied what are the chances of getting RFE / approval together ?.
