hi everybody
i see ur forum today and really its so amazing and helpful .
am dv2011 selectee with case number 2011AS000037XXX recieved my notification letter at July . but when i returned back document to KCC in 10 augusts. i submit 2 photos with european standards which 3.5 by 4.5 cm not american standard which is 5cm by 5cm .
so my case will be rejected automaticly or can i submit the correct photos and attach it to my case ?
unfortunatly today is labour day in US and am really desperate to know the answer
if any one knows or have similar experience please dont hesitae to tell me and i will be very gratful to him

Hi Nedved, you can e mail or call kcc and ask them what to do. Most probably they will tell you to send another package containing the correct size photos and a cover letter stating why you are sending new photos. Some people even say that you can submit photos during the time of interview at the embassy. Good luck.

Yes, you a brighter chance of having a GC. You will be current in May or July next year, based on previous visa bulletin, I know applicants whose case numbers are like that and have got their Visas

Yes, I agree with Labora. This is not a big problem. Just e-mail KCC, they are understanding. Peace! Benniit

i called KCC today and told me to resubmit the correct photos to attach it in my case . unfortunatly he told me that my forms which i have sent in 9/8/2010 not received yet by KCC . do how u know guys that ur forms recieved ? by email or u have to ask them every while? thanx in advance for ur collabration

How did you send your forms to kcc? Via regular mail or through faster express services like DHL?
 
Nedved, regular mail may take some time to get to kcc. They also confirm receipt of forms 2-4 weeks after it arrives at kcc. So, give it 2-4 weeks and call or e mail them back. Don't worry, you have enough time as ur case number is a bit far.
 
thanx labora again for ur reply . i noticed that my 1st notificatin letter datd in 10 may but i received it after 20 july . so the mail in my country slow .one more thing i read in the forum about visa bulletin but i cant understand it . but if my case number is 2011AS00037XXX so when i will become current ? when you think they will appoint me interview ? am really thankful for you for ur collabratoin
 
Hi Nedved, from last year, your number was current in September. In DV 2010, all cases from Asia were called for interview and no one was left out because of a high case number. So, you will be called for the interview in September 2011.
