Help Please

I'm USC,going to marry in india...planning to file for wife next year(I-130,in US)
My concern is of tax,i have no income last year(2008) & i have not file tax(filed only extension)...
Should i file tax(with no income)?
Is it going to be a problem for processing of I-130(though i will have a co-sponser)...

it is a good idea to file your return and as long as you have a co-sponsor it will be ok
