Hi,
I am an Australian citizen who married a US citizen in 2006. We lived in Australia for 3 years and have just recently come back to the US to live.
I entered on the wrong visa and Immigration allowed me & my son to come in on a Paroled status to allow us to file our Adjustment of status and immigration papers.
My husband has recently just started working and is not earning enough to cover the requirements for the 125% poverty level as is on training wages.
His mother wants to be a joint or co-sponsor and she earns enough but we are VERY confused about which forms we need as she does not live with us.
If anyone can help us that would be wonderful as we cannot afford a lawyer and are really scared we will do this wrong.
Thank you in advance.
